In light of the most recent cycling tragic, I am thinking some small changes may help raise drivers’ awareness of cyclists: the drivers’ test should make it mandatory for driver to perform a blind spot check when on turning either left or right. I know a lot driver won’t check their right side when turning right, because they think they are in the right most lane and there is nothing to the right; also it should be mandatory for the driver to do a blind spot check on the left before they open the door, which helps reduce door prize. These are very modest and practical changes, they won’t help with drivers already out there that much, but they could help educate the next generation of drivers, and the publicity may also help educate the general public as well.
Why does Spacing keep linking to the Sun? That’s no news source: even if you want another political view (i.e. foaming at the mouth insane) there must be something that uses bigger words than they do in kindergarten.
