  1. Glad to see Wrongbar getting props from the MSM. I haven’t had a chance to go yet but I’ve always liked Nasty Nav’s sets, and I’ve already heard well-known artists saying it could be Toronto’s next great underground spot.

    I am also glad to see John Spears’ article lambasting our pathetic ads-on-a-stick, the InfoToGo pillars. If Torontonians weren’t so polite, people would surely run into those things with rented pickups, collect them in the back and pile them high in Astral Media’s BCE Place office.

    And who can forget the Nathan Phillips Square redesign which, while fixing some elements within, completely neglects the southeast “entrance” to the square, which seems poised to remain an uninviting, sidewalk-less iron fence.

I can’t believe this project would even go ahead considering the financial implications.But on a higher note maybe the tribute plaque that was installed way at the back of the square that acknowledges the chinese who lost their property to allow the city hall to be built maybe can be moved to the southeast corner. This will allow the public to “see” the sacrifice hard working honest people made to our great city!
