Canadian Urbanism Uncovered

  1. Agreeing with Hume that the Ryerson campus should have even more streets than just Gould closed to car traffic. But the campus is far from a “blight” as it is now. There’s a lot there already to build on and work with. It could become a really great zone.

  2. must be embarrasing to see mayor miller break his election promises.Even the hosts at city-tv were not very happy with the news.Oh well I guess its true tell them what they want to hear to get elected, then convince them you didn’t lie then repeat over again.
At least if the mayor and deputy mayor had attended university at Ryerson they would be more practical and truthfull.Rye-hi is a great place to advance your education and it gets better every year.

  3. Yeah George, I hear Ryerson provides a way better education than that no name school Miller went to. What was it called? Oh yeah, Harvard! And we all know that Ryerson’s law school produces lawyers who are more honest than U of T. Oh right, Ryerson doesn’t have a law school! Geeze you’re an idiot.

Everyone knew that inflation meant somewhere around 3% or 4% and the rate of inflation for municipalities is more than that anyways. Unlike most entities in Canada, Toronto has the largest public transit operation in the country and the largest fleet of municipal vehicles in the country that all rely on fuel. Costs like that make Toronto’s costs inflate faster than most. Deal with it. Or like you’ve been asked to do so many times, leave.
