Canadian Urbanism Uncovered

One comment

  1. on “sly snow-clearing” I’ve noted what seems an increase of snow dumping on sidewalks at crosswalks. Some of the big contenders include high pedestrian traffic corners like Lansdowne and Seaforth (the south east corner where a crossing guard is strategically stationed for attendees of a public school on the ne corner) and the nw corner of Grenadier and the Queensway which is an access to High Park and its recreational trails.
I don’t see how forcing pedestrians onto the streets to avoid road dump or making property owners sidewalk clearing impossible by planting a 6′ pile resolves matters.
    Something is borked here.
