During and after the election Adam Vaughan claimed he wasn’t getting help from Tonny Ianno and now he defends himself against Joe Volpe’s accusation that Vaughan ran as an NDPer by saying Tony Ianno helped his campaign? Can’t have it both ways, Vaughan!
Kudos to Joe Fiorito in the Star for writing about my beloved neighbourhood of Parkdale. The oft forgotten choke point between High Park and West Queen West is going to be getting a lot more attention soon, as developers realize there is a world on the other side of the Dufferin underpass.
Bordered by increasingly expensive areas to the west (WQW, Liberty Village) and the east (Roncesvalles, High Park) there’ll be few places for lower income Parkdalians and the young artists and entrepreneurs to go when Parkdale gets developed…and it will get developed.
When the neighbourhood starts getting squeezed, we’re all going to have to pop out somewhere.
How the hell can “Youth for” Volpe claim Vaughan’s a dipper when he beat the NDP’s candidate as chosen in a run-off/knifefight?
Just go away, Joe.
