WHAT: Infest Wisely screening and DVD launch
WHEN: TONIGHT Thursday May 15 9-11pm
WHERE: Royal Cinema — 608 College
Infest Wisely is a no-budget feature film shot in Toronto and written by Spacing contributor Jim Munroe — those who attended our launch party last Sunday saw his Grand Theft Auto remix on the (small) big screen. Infest Wisely was directed by seven different directors and you will recognize many Toronto public spaces, and maybe some familiar faces. This is about as indie as film can get. More info here and Facebook event here. You may recall about a year and a half ago we posted an open call for bike-gang extras.
After being screened across the continent, the lo-fi sci-fi anthology feature “Infest Wisely” returns to Toronto with a screening and DVD launch at The Royal. $10 admission, $15 for admission and a DVD.
There’s a new, chewable nanotechnology that lets you take photos with your eyes, cures cancer and eliminates body odour. But the early adopters are realizing they got extra “features” they didn’t count on. And no one told them once they spread through the bloodstream, it’s harder to uninstall than your average computer virus.
