There’s also Vinay Menon’s bizarre humour column in today’s Star, which takes some maybe-ironic potshots at the Cyclists Union.
Vinay is one of those bizarre and bad writers the Star keeps on staff, like Slinger, that I skip over because as hard as I try, I can’t get into them or understand why they are around. Perhaps they are grandfathered in? Or appeal to some demographic the Star needs to keep entertained (dumb baby boomers, is my guess). Anyway, weird publicity is good publicity, just the same.
If Ford runs for mayor, he will likely lose. That would also mean that he would not be on council anymore either.
Let’s encourage him to run. Should make for entertaining debates too.
Ford would “likely” lose? That’s like saying George Bush would admit invading Iraq was wrong.
Hey Mel got elected TWICE so be careful what you wish for.
(and many more times before that in North York).
