I think it’s great that an article mostly not about Blackett is adorned with an eighth-page photograph of Blackett. He’s a rising star who really doesn’t get enough accolades for his work in the TTC Web “space.â€Â
Joe: I don’t disagree with your sarcasm. I was asked for a photo thinking I would be part one of a few photographed. Maybe others were taken, I dunno. But place the blame on the Star, not me.
If the TTC had launched a trip planner as glitchy as the one at myttc.ca, people would be calling for heads to roll. Myttc’s trip planner is neat, and they’ve accomplished something quite extraordinary and yet the results leave a lot to be desired. Do some test searches with familiar routes and you’ll discover that all too often they send you off on a “wild goose” ride involving multiple transfers instead of a direct route. A community site can be forgiven for this; the TTC wouldn’t be.
