Members to Toronto’s standing committees and agencies were confirmed today by City Council. Usually at the mid-point of a term, the committees are re-arranged. Council also named Mayor David Miller to the Board of the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation for a term of office starting ecember 16, 2008 to December 15, 2011. The Executive Committee will appoint one of its members to the Budget Committee to serve as Chair at its first meeting in January 2009. A complete list of Councillor appointments to committees, agencies, boards, and committees will be available on the City’s website when the City Clerk posts the decisions of City Council later this week. Community Council Chairs and Vice Chairs will be announced after they have been elected at the first meeting of each community council.
