The Light Rail over Subway debate is a doozy.
On the one hand, the light rail is less costly but would maybe have troubles in difficult canadian winters. With the subway, it’s more costly but it’s underground, so we’d be nice and warm.
I’m a firm believer that we should have a much more extended subway system though. This way, we limit cars and encourage public transit(*and not to mention, health!)
On a final note, people as a species, are selfish by nature. We will “never” give up our cars. Therefor, i fully encourage eco-friendly vehicle design.
I’m all over the place aren’t I? I’m a dreamer, what can i say.
