This may be a far left field observation, but could people be a little over reacting on all this TTC safety issue?
Do we really need the RCMP surveillancing our stations/buses? Can the cause of all these criminal occurances simply be the general bad “recession” mood people are experiencing these days??
I realize some of these shootings were the direct result of gang wars violence, but others(*ie. the dufferin station guy) were simply mentaly disturbed people.
Just my views on this whole TTC security/policing issue thats all.
