Urban Planet: Cultural museum in China reflects Islamic architecture

The Yinchuan Exhibition Center in northwestern China fuses traditional Chinese architecture with Islamic motifs.

The five story 25,302 square meter building has several green design elements including a massive atrium in the middle, and automatic shading to help keep the building cool.

This project was created by Sure Architecture and provides northwestern China with a new cultural landmark.
