All together now: CASE CLOSED, CASE CLOSED, CASE CLOSED, CASE CLOSED.
I don’t say this often, but g-d bless the Sun!
I’ll miss saying oootes, but its a small price to pay to rid the city of this dinosaur.
I don’t know which consequence of Ootes going is worse – the near certain total Dipperfication of my riding or the alarming theory floated by the Star that Jane Pitfield could be our ward councillor. Redraw our boundary east of the valley already!
The 1950’s are finally over at City Council.
Pitfield will just be Ootes in drag. What’s the problem with East York anyway?
Jane Pitfield might be the one person who could make me miss Case Ootes…
Someone really ought to write about how Mammoliti is happy to take on the “50,000” city employees, including lifeguards who make $13 an hour, but considers his own nearly $100,000 salary a year along with added expenses and benefits along with the mayor’s $167,000 salary to be “peanuts”. What a hypocritical jerk.
ScottD: I think you mean the 1980s are over. The 1950s at City Hall ended in the 1970s with the arrival of the likes of David Crombie and John Sewell.
I forlornly hope that most voters are better at math than Tessa.
