How can Toronto’s design community contribute to making Toronto a better city for walking? To help get the City’s new Walking Strategy off the ground, the City has teamed up with designers of all stripes to hold a panel discussion about “Can the design community bring Torontonians to their feet?”
What’s innovative about this panel is that it includes not just the usual suspects — architects and landscape architects — but also industrial, graphic and interior designers (think street furniture, or wayfinding signs). It should be a fascinating and mind-opening discussion for all types of designers and also for anyone interested in walking and improving our urban fabric.
