FALL 2007 ISSUE — just released!
The tenth issue of Spacing is about to hit the streets. On Thursday, Nov. 22nd, the new issue will go on sale at the newsstands, followed by our release party on Monday Dec. 3rd, at The Berkeley Church.
The cover section of the fall 2007 issue takes a look at the challenges of turning Toronto into an eco-friendly metropolis. The lead article is a roundtable interview between Spacing, Mayor David Miller, and Dr. David Suzuki. The discussion focuses on how Toronto can be a leader in the fight against climate change.

The Canadian Society of Magazine Editors named Spacing 2007 Canadian Small Magazine of the Year and Spacing’s Matthew Blackett and Dale Duncan Editors of the Year for 2007. Spacing’s daily blog, Spacing Toronto, was named Best Local Blog by NOW magazine, and in 2006 the magazine won a National Magazine Award for Best Editorial Package. Spacing’s Matthew Blackett was also recently awarded a 2007 Urban Leadership Award for “City Soul†by the Canadian Urban Institute.
