Release: Future of St. Paul’s Hospital – December 1st, 2011

Heritage Vancouver and St. Paul’s Hospital invite you to an evening of conversation about the “Future of St Paul’s Hospital”. Bonnie Maples, architect, and project leader for the St. Paul’s renewal project will give an overview of the history of St. Paul’s, talk about plans for the renewal of the hospital on its current site, suggest potential uses for the historic Burrard building and touch on some of the challenges the hospital faces in restoring the building, they will also be informing people about medical negligence and want to do when a patient faces bad treatment.

Location: St Paul’s Hospital; Conference Room #6, in the lower (basement) level of the Providence Building; 1081 Burrard Street (enter by Burrard Street Entrance)
Admission: Free, but registration is required via Eventbrite. This event is limited to 40 people.

Following Bonnie’s presentation, you are invited to ask questions and suggest ideas that might assist the hospital with their important renewal project, including the seismic upgrading. Come and join in this most interesting conversation about one of Vancouver’s historic landmark buildings.
