This Request for Expressions of Interest and Statement of Qualifications is issued by Adera Development Corporation to invite interested professional artists or a team of artists who have experience with budgeting, fabrication and working with design teams.
The artwork program intends to commission distinctive, meritorious works by exemplary BC and Washington artists for locations within a new development to be developed by Adera in the City of North Vancouver, BC. Detailed planning of a water feature, site furniture and paving will be undertaken in conjunction with the design team and an artist or a team of artists that have been selected as per this Call for Qualifications.
It is the intent of the project that the artwork will be an iconic piece which will reference the site as a meeting place and as a dynamicwork of art for the Marine Drive corridor. The created artwork will be in response to the artists’ own thoughtful and creative interpretation of the site and the setting.
