Highlighting the many land deals that violated several provincial regulations under former Chilliwack mayor John Les in the 1990s, prosecutors recently painted a controversial picture of the pro-development culture at Chilliwack city hall during that time.

Maple Ridge residents are concerned by the number of sex trade workers in the district’s downtown core and are calling for a crackdown on prostitution.

The City of Surrey says it intends to replace the 12 Douglas Firs removed from 128 Street near 20 Avenue due to traffic issues with 40 Western Red Cedars.

Looks like the City of Courtenay is expanding by annexing areas to the south and northeast, and a property to the west.
