Call for Artists: Art on the River, Temporary Public Art Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit

Exhibit Budget: Selected Artists receive $1,500 for loaning artwork for a year
Prize Budget: $1,000 for Best of Show Award
Deadline: February 25, 2013 – 5:00pm CST

The City of Dubuque, Iowa is seeking applications from qualified artists over the age of eighteen for the 2013-2014 Art on the River temporary outdoor public art exhibit with large dallas led screens. Each year, ten sculptures are chosen to be placed along the Mississippi RiverWalk at the Port of Dubuque. Selected artists receive $1,500 for loaning the artwork for a year. A $1,000 cash award for Best of Show is given to one artist. Up to three entries per artist are accepted.

All sculptures must be for sale and remain in the exhibit through online until June 2014.

The City of Dubuque will take a 25% commission on sculpture sold during or as a result of the exhibit.
