Join us at the Metro Theatre for a public art presentation and artist talk by international artist duo, Sans façon on current project Limelight: Saturday Night! This is a catered and free event for the public. Limelight: Saturday Night is hosted by chART: Public Art Marpole, Emily Carr University of Art + Design, Canada Council for the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, Marpole BIA and the City of Vancouver Public Art Program.

ARTIST BIO
Sans façon is an artist collaboration between French architect Charles Blanc and British artist Tristan Surtees. The duo develops both temporary and permanent projects aimed to investigate the complex relationship between people and place.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Public Art Marpole is a creative collaboration between Emily Carr University of Art + Design and the Marpole BIA. The project aims to support public art and community engagement through creativity and innovation. This collaboration is led by Dr. Cameron Cartiere, Dean of Graduate Studies at Emily Carr.

LIMELIFGHT EVENTS

Participate in Limelight on the street Friday and Saturday, January 25 and 26, from 5 to 10pm at two sites:

  • Granville and Hastings
  • Granville and 68th Avenue
