Join the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions (PICS) for a special free Vancouver public lecture on sustainable energy systems, including fuel cell research and development.
This event, as part of the PICS UBC-SFU public lecture series, will feature Dr. Martin Ordonez, Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at UBC and Dr. Erik Kjeang, Assistant Professor in the Mechatronic Systems Engineering program and co-director of the Multiscale Thermofluidic Laboratory for Sustainable Energy Research at SFU.
Dr. Kjeang will offer an overview of fuel cell systems as clean electricity generators for transportation and other uses. He will highlight the most recent innovations developed at SFU in collaboration with the Westline Electrical Services.
Dr. Martin Ordonez will follow with information about UBC’s research and development on power converters and effective system integration, which is leading to expanded opportunity in fuel cell products and applications.
