Are you concerned about climate change, but unsure how it may impact you, your community, our province? Do you wonder how to make a difference?
This is your invitation to be a part of a diverse group of 36 people from across Metro Vancouver to engage in 4 days of lively conversation: February 14th and 28th, and March 14th and 28th.
You’ll learn about the connections between climate change and overall quality of life today and in the future. This is a uniquely supported environment to:
* See the “big picture”– with up-to-date research.
* Explore your personal and shared assumptions and values.
* Ask questions, share stories and envision with others.
* Contemplate your role in addressing climate change.
For more information and to apply, please go to: http://policyalternatives.ca/climatejusticeconversation
If selected, you will receive an honorarium of $300 (must be able to attend all four days).
The deadline for applications is January 26, so don’t delay! And please feel free to share this with others you think might be interested.
This Changes BC is a production of the Climate Justice Project, Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, BC Office.
