Urban Design! Sex Talk! Stanley Cup Riot Boards! Maker Workshops! Performance! Architecture! Taxidermy! Ugly Neon! Popup Tattoo Parlours! Shared Heritage! Diverse Local Investigations! Objects of Intrigue!
Help us share these things with Vancouver!
The Museum of Vancouver is recruiting dynamic volunteers to expand and deepen the reach of its Programs and Audience Engagement department. We’re looking for Vancouverites who are eager to learn about, investigate, and engage deeply with our city. If you share our Vision and want to be part of getting people engaged in MOV activities and initiatives, this is for you!
If you are:
- excited by the opportunity to be part of some of Vancouver’s most exciting and innovative events;
- interested and excited to share your stories, experiences, and knowledge about Vancouver;
- dedicated and willing to devote time and energy to helping make MOV experiences active, engaging, and socially rich;
- reliable, skilled, and willing to learn with us;
- looking for a chance to shape, work with, and gain experience working with an award-winning, dynamic and progressive organization;
…we want to meet you!
Amazing MOV experiences could not happen without the spirit and participation of dedicated volunteers. Volunteering with the MOV’s Engagement & Dialogue team will offer opportunities and foundation for volunteers to join in partnership with MOV’s curatorial team to contribute to the mission of the Museum. We engage with a curious, diverse, and friendly community of members, academic partners, and collaborative allies.
Join us Thursday August 16 at 6:30-8:00PM to meet the Engagement & Dialogue team, some other volunteers, and learn more about the MOV!
Light refreshments and a brief tour of the MOV will be followed by an opportunity to learn about upcoming Fall/Winter programs.
