Join Mayor Gregor Robertson and Vancouver City Council for the City of Vancouver’s 2014 Mayor’s Arts Awards
Presented at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre.
The evening also features the announcement of the winner of this year’s City of Vancouver Book Award. Admission is free, but RSVPs are required.

The Mayor’s Arts Awards recognize established and emerging artists in a wide array of disciplines that make up our creative sector – from literary and culinary arts to visual and performing arts, as well as five unique awards for contributions to the City of Vancouver.
Each arts category honouree is asked to select an Emerging Artist in their discipline who represents the promise of the next generation.
Artist Honourees, Emerging Artists, and Lifetime Achievement recipients receive a cash award. Special non-cash awards are made for contributions through Volunteerism, Philanthropy, Business Support, and the Arts Board Member of the Year.
The recipients of the 2014 Mayor’s Arts Awards will be announced prior to the Awards Ceremony.
