Green Fleet is a go This week city council passed its Green Fleet Plan which calls for a greater use of alternative fuels, idling limits for city staff, a pilot testing for green truck technology and a bike share program for city employees. Apparently the plan would mean a reduction of 15,000 tonnes of CO2 and a net saving of about 4M$ for the city.
