  1. Is this facing north or south? (If it’s south, that’s Griffintown, no?)

Or is this near Wellington after the underpass? (hard to tell at night…)

  2. Years Ago the Five Roses Building ALSO had the Word ‘FLOUR’ Below the Words ‘Five Roses’.

The Old Northern Electric Building on Shearer St. off St. Patrick St. Once had a LOVELY Neon Sign Facing North.

Both Signs Visible from Trains Arriving and Departing Old CPR Windsor Station on Windsor Street.

Dominion Engineering in Lachine also had a Great Neon Sign visible on Old 2/17. Just West of Dominion Engineering was a Huge ROUND BA OIL Sign which Alternately Flashed BA, 88 AND 98 to Inbound Commuters as they Passed the Old Humpty Dumpty Potato Chip Plant.

Maurice Richard also had a Lounge/Bar/Restaurant near there too, as I recall.

Once all sorts of Fantastic Neon Signs in Montreal.

CPR Angus Shops in the East End once had ‘Angus Shops’ in White Bricks in the Red Brick in their Fire Hall Hose Tower. Later the Word ‘Shops’ Painted Over, leaving Just ‘Angus.’

  3. Nice shot, and beautifully composed (though I know the location pretty much constrained that.)

  4. That brick building in the foreground is at the corner of Saint Patrick and Bridge Street.
