2008 success story: the TTC

In the spirit of New Year’s reflections, Sean Marshall gives evidence for the unexpected fact that TTC improvements have been one of Toronto’s greatest success stories of 2008.

GO Transit’s new bike shelters

GO Transit’s highly trafficked Brampton station is undergoing substantial remodeling. Sean Marshall looks at one example of this change: glass-enclosed bike shelters for commuters who need a safe place to lock up before their locomotive journeys.

  1. Covered bike shelters? Have we died and gone to heaven? A dream come true if you ask me. Woohoo. Let’s see some in our city too.
    Maybe at the Grande Bibliotheque where some covered bike parking could easily be put under the shelter of the building’s overhanging wall on the north side.
