According to Urban Forum, “Alex MacLean is an award winning photographer, pilot, Harvard-trained architect, and author and co-author of 11 books. Through his stunning aerial photography, Mr. MacLean will reveal rarely seen views of what an oil junkie society looks like from the sky.  From our growing tar sands in Alberta to the Texas suburban extreme, he follows the supply and demand of our oil addiction; its consequences for urban form, and some hopes to curb it, with a sampling of innovative solutions from Europe and North America.”
