SPACING FEATURE: Toronto’s new wayfinding signs?

In Spacing‘s current print issue, we challenged Toronto artist and Spacing contributor Marc Ngui to identify neighbourhoods and locations that were lacking the appropriate wayfinding signage and create new icons using his unique blend of social and political commentary.

Our city has a plethora of signs that tell us where or where not to park, if a street is a dead-end, or point us towards cultural institutions. We thought it would be fun to imagine the real hazzards of this city. You can download a PDF of the icons and make yourself stickers, buttons, or t-shirts.
