According to the recent news: we are all working too much. Perhaps we are trying to save up for a new condo in the sky? Because soon only the affluent will be able to afford living close to the ground. The rest of us will most likely be driving cost-efficient scooters in order to save our money for fancy (bikeless) shopping disticts.
Meanwhile in Switzerland (where they don’t work so much): The fancy financial district of St. Gallen has been transformed by artist Pipilotti Rist and architect Carlos Martinez into a giant red outdoor living room or “Stadtlounge” (city lounge) 360° Panorama .
It makes me want to not work so much.

I love the installation! Unfortunately I think only Commerce Court would really have the same effect, and it’s already covered in grass.
That’s awesome!
“Because soon only the affluent will be able to afford living close to the ground”? Isn’t that exactly the opposite of what Dylan Reid wrote in his recent article in Now?
Speaking of condos in the sky, my neighbour just sent me an email about an upcoming condo development. Too bad it’s for the birds… http://www.pigeoncondo.com
