where was that photo taken, and in what year?
IN the 30s, near the Humber river/bay. I think this is Lake Shore entering the city from the west.
Did Toronto actually hit 778 thousand pop?
Yes it did hit it. It was 667,500in 1941 and I think this pic is form the early 50s.
