On Saturday evening, the folks who created the City Idol documentary are holding a fundraiser party at Plaza Flamingo at College and Bathurst to pay off the last of the film crew’s bills. Misha Glouberman will be hosting, CIty Idol contestant Michael Johnson and The New Kings will be performing, plus Spacing’s publisher Matt Blackett will be DJing.

DVDs of the documentary will be available soon, the directors said after tonight’s screening.
