Many thanks to all who braved a chilly night and headed to the east side of downtown for Spacing’s Green Issue launch party Monday night. We had a packed house for nearly four hours as people came and went, and much praise was given to the Berkeley Church’s new event space in what was formerly Queen Lumber’s loading dock and shed. Though sub-zero temperatures kept folks inside, it’s easy to imagine how nice this place will be in the summer when the doors are open and the tree house is full. Still, the party had a festive and cozy feel to it and became a sort of civic-minded holiday party.

Spacing writer Jessica Duffin Wolfe made a quick video of the event above, and more photos are below. We saw many new faces last night and we are glad you made it out to your first Spacing launch and happy the rest of you returned. Your continued support is what keeps the magazine going.
