WHAT: Styrofoam Ban-Aid fundraiser
WHEN: Thursday, January 31 (tonight) at 8pm
WHERE: Drake Hotel Underground (1150 Queen Street West)

Tonight at 8pm, NaturoPack (a Toronto-based nonprofit) presents Styrofoam Ban-Aid — a benefit to ban Styrofoam take-out containers from Toronto’s restaurants and cafés. Taking part in the fundraiser at the Drake Hotel Underground: Cuff the Duke, Sunparlour Players, Jewish Legend, and DJ Stà¼berman, plus videos by Adam & Dave.

WHAT: Black Creek United photography exhibit
WHEN: February 4-29
WHERE: York Woods Library (1785 Finch Avenue West)

The Art Gallery of York University (AGYU), York Woods Library, and “The Spot” are pleased to present Black Creek United. This exhibition of psychogeography-inspired photographs document an interdisciplinary art workshop for youth in the Jane and Finch community that took place during the fall of 2007.
