Who is making decisions about the look and life of the street? Will we be smeared entirely in stucco as far as the eye can see? Can we understand our city and its residents through our encounters on the streets? Sixteen local artists working in multiple media explore these themes and others as they consider the street in this group exhibition at Side Space Gallery.

WHAT: Toronto Walking Strategy Open House meeting
WHEN: Tuesday, March 25, 6pm to 8:30pm
WHERE: Scarborough Civic Centre rotunda (150 Borough Drive)

The City of Toronto is in the process of developing a Walking Strategy, which will include visionary policy, infrastructure, and programming to create a rich culture of walking in Toronto. They want to hear your comments about how to make our communities more walkable. Three open houses have been planned to present the highlights of the Strategy and gather your input. The first one happens this coming Tuesday, March 25 at 6pm in the Scarborough Civic Centre.
