  1. I cannot believe that any “news”paper, even the Sun, would print Richard ******* Peddie’s musings on vision.

  2. I think Peddie’s musings on vision are timely and needed … there are some people who will take notice of what he’s saying, who don’t give a rat’s ass about us Spacing types and what we think is important (things like vision).

  3. If George Smitherman wants to support Roncesvalles businesses, why doesn’t he mention Blue Plate, Lardon, Sushi on Roncy, the new chocolatier, the new florist, the new art gallery and the other new businesses that have opened up on Roncesvalles during the reconstruction?

Construction sucks, but the Roncy business that really is doomed is the new CashMax, which is always empty and hopefully will close soon.

The rest of Roncesvalles is looking ahead, and believes the redesign of Roncesvalles is a good news story, and doesn’t like being portrayed by mayoral candidates as a whiny basketcase.

  4. Maybe George’s idea needs to be extended to cover the damage TTC’s Giambrone did to Dundas West BIA by taking away parking?
Another example of non-consultative style thathurts real people. In future, the city needs to include loacals when they do such things. And now – they need to compensate businesses they have already harmed.
