Instaflaneur: the Rochester ferry terminal has the best lonely view in the city

The Rochester ferry terminal is a lonely, lonely place these days. Rochester! We hardly knew you. I, like everybody (?), always meant to take the ferry over but didn’t get around to it during its brief run. For now, this international border point remains abandoned, waiting for when we decide boat travel is the way to go again.

  1. Really sad story here. Coming back from a camping trip to Finger lakes, I’d imagine a boat ride cross would be more fun, if not faster. Hey, maybe Toronto and Rochester (not Buffalo) should co-host an Olympics, that would give this thing a chance?
