Less than two weeks ago Spacing launched Metro Magnets, our newest product that should have urbanists and transit geeks salivating.
With Metro Magnets, you take any of the 175 magnetic strips and arrange them together to form your own subway map.
They have been selling quite well, with over 60% of the sales coming from the United States (c’mon Canada, catch up!). We’ve had the obvious interest from urban planning and architecture firms, but the most exciting development is purchases from teachers who are using them in the classroom.
You can pick up your own set of Metro Magnets for $15 through our e-store or at the following retail locations: Town (Bloor and Brock), Wise Daughters (Dundas W and Quebec in the Junction), and Outer Layer on Bloor (just east of Bathurst).
