Urban Planet: Mesmerizing visualizations of mass-transit

While you are riding the overcrowded bus to work, it might be impossible to imagine how many other people, on innumerable forms of transit, are scattered throughout the city, just like you. Well, programmer Andrew Walker, of Sumus Technology, has created several videos of major cities’ transit systems to do just that. The images are mesmerizing, as the full breadth of how people move around the city on buses, trains, and ferries is unveiled.
