Event: Toronto Urban Photography Festival

What: The inaugural Toronto Urban Photography Festival is a two-week series of exhibits, speaking events, workshops, and walks happening across the city. Inspired by the London Street Photography Festival, this volunteer-run festival is all free or donation-based, and showcases both local and international photographers.

Where: Seven galleries across the downtown core, including the Normal Felix Gallery, Lomography, and the Communication Gallery.

When: Exhibits are ongoing until March 23. Upcoming events include “Image in Pieces: Journeys in Photography, Society & Waste,” a talk at the Akasha Art Projects and a workshop for photographers on lighting their subject, both happening March 21.
