Tonight grab anyone you think is myopic on urban issues and bring them down to the Goethe Institute for the opening of Urban Perspectives, an examination of urban themes through a wide palette of aesthetic lenses. This show features photo sculpture, video art and photo based wall paintings. Artists Andreas Koch — a Berlin artist involved in the Trash exhibition at with the Drake as artist-in-residence – and Eric Glavin have chosen to work with both well known and all too often overlooked architectural structures in the immediate neighbourhood of the Goethe-Institut. The opening goes from 5pm to 8pm, with a talk by the artists at 7pm. Gut times!
