There is a special place in hell for people who ride these things on the sidewalk.
ha ha,
Dan just dropped by and stopped on the sidewalk
but in Paris I have seen scooters drive on the sidewalk while getting parked or unparked.
This is still unsafe and against the bylaws.
Is this a bicycle or a motorcycle?
We have people on bicycles on the sidewalk all the time.
Sometimes it can be scary, usually annoying, but mostly they are polite.
What bylaw governs this category of unlicensed vehicles anyway.
It is strange what gets turned into a law:
I remember rollerblading in a small town in Nova Scotia, and being told by a cop that I could not do that sort of thing on either the street or the sidewalk.
I was assuming it was a scooter like a vespa. If it were an e-bike, being on the sidewalk would be a grey area. Those are essentially bikes while on the road, but I don’t know about sidewalk specific laws. Certainly motorcycles and scooters shouldn’t be parking on the sidewalk.
yes – an E-Bike as titled.
Does Dan still need a special place in hell, or have I established a reasonable doubt upon his guilt?
