WHAT: Beyond the walls – the CSI party with a purpose

Last year, the Centre for Social Innovation opened it’s new Annex location, turning a cramped, drab office space into an open, welcoming home for a lot of great organizations and companies (Spacing included).With two floors of the new space finished, they are now busy working to get the first floor up and running.
This Friday CSI is holding a fundraiser to help with the construction of the first floor space. Spacing will be there with some copies of our new issue and merchandise. A couple of things that will be featured at the party are:
Dance Party
DJ’s Goin’ Steady will be delivering the goods from 8:00pm-1:00am, throwing down a mix of dance-friendly tracks for you and yours. You may remember the Goin’ Steady DJ’s from such parties as the CSI Annex launch, featuring a sold-out crowd of over 500 people!
Innovators Auction
We’re sourcing 50 killer items ready for your bidding! Some are fun, some are serious, some are rare and all will be unforgettable.

Urban Upscale Dinner
Arrive at 6pm to be lavished upon with sparking wine, artisan canapes and a delux cheese board by Fifth Town Artisan Cheese Co.

- Wild stinging nettle and cucumber gazpacho with lemon crème fraiche and smoked maple trout
- Heirloom beet tartare with soft boiled quail eggs, mustard greens, tarragon aioli and toasted garlic baguette spears
- Carpaccio of Portobello mushroom with roasted Italian chicory, toasted almonds and a navy bean puree
- New Farm mixed greens and sprouts with Baco noir vinaigrette, black radish slivers and grilled asparagus
- Aged prime rib served cold with horseradish mousse, wilted dandelion leaves and pickled wild leeks
- Heirloom tomato, Ontario feta and wild cattail salad with basil and nasturtium greens
After we ply you with wine, dessert and two exclusive dinner performances we’ll welcome you to join the Beyond The Walls dance party taking place on two more floors.
