Hidden City: CBC Radio show on public spaces

If you’re around a radio tonight at 7:30pm, check out Hidden City, a summer show on CBC Radio hosted by Nick Purdon (you can also listen to it on Saturday at 9:30pm). Tonight’s focus is on Toronto and public washrooms and includes me nattering away about the importance of public spaces in the city. Here’s the show’s description:

Hidden City is a show about the city you never knew existed: the city right in front of you, the one you live, work, and play in, which you’ve never really stopped to look at before. Your host and helpful city guide Nick Purdon sifts through garbage, chats up cabbies, and hangs out in dark alleyways – all in the name of unearthing the secret rules, behaviours and activities that make the modern city work.
