We’ve had a great time playing lawn bowling with the Royal Spacing Lawn Bowling Society of Toronto over the past two weeks (pictures and video to come!), so we decided to schedule another night of lawn bowling with the great folks at the West Toronto Lawn Bowling Club for everyone who couldn’t make it out the first time, or for those who’d like to come back.
Our next lawn bowling night will be on Wednesday, September 5th, starting at 7pm at the West Toronto Lawn Bowling Club (at Keele and Humberside, just north of Bloor, south of Annette). You can purchase tickets for the event for $15 through our e-store. All that is required from participants is flat-soled shoes (runners, sandals, even Crocs if that’s your thing) and, if possible, dress in all-white.
The ticket price includes:
- the exclusive rental of the lawn bowling club to Spacing readers;
- rental of bowls; and
- lessons from veteran club members on the rules of the game, scoring, and throwing techniques.
Tickets for our first two nights sold out within 24 hours, so act quick! If you don’t catch them before they sell out, keep your eyes on our Facebook and Twitter, and we’ll announce any more free spots open up.
