  2. Regarding the “Idaho Stop”: Most motorists already do this too, so they wouldn’t have much right to complain when cyclists do it. Take a few moments to observe motorists at stop signs. Very few of them actually come to a complete stop, unless there is impending danger. Cyclists tend to do the same.

  3. All those stop signs on side streets also waste gasoline for cars. It uses more fuel using first gear from a full stop than if one coasts.

  4. The more stop signs on side streets, the more people on bikes and in cars just coast through them.

  5. Where’s the mention of the HUGE investigative report into the Toronto Humane Society by Globe and Mail’s Kate Hammer? Are animals not part of the city? I see CityTV booster Ann Rohmer and the Toronto Star and Sun are completely out to lunch on this. OSPCA now investigating too.
