CULTURAL SPACES INFRASTRUCTURE GRANT – 2012

Financial support for costs related to planning, feasibility assessments, acquisition, renovation and development of cultural spaces.

DEADLINE : 4:30 pm | Friday, May 04, 2012

Would your Vancouver-based cultural non-profit organization benefit from more or better space? The City of Vancouver, Cultural Spaces, is encouraging eligible organizations to submit an application to the 2012 Cultural Spaces Infrastructure Grant Program. Planning, Minor Capital and Major Capital projects are eligible.

The City of Vancouver disbursed over $1.2M to 30 Vancouver non-profit arts and culture organizations under the 2011 Infrastructure Grant Program. Grants ranged from as little as $2,300 to the maximum allocation of $150,000. Cultural Services was pleased to see that, for 2011, the number of planning grants grew by 8%, reflecting an increased awareness and diligence by the cultural community for comprehensive and strategic pre-planning or facility related projects.

All applicants must meet with Cultural Services staff prior to submission.

This grant is highly competitive. We encourage you to submit a thoughtful and complete application. Incomplete applications or ineligible organizations or projects will not be considered for adjudication.

Please visit the City of Vancouver website for the eligibility criteria, the application form, guidelines and other resources to help you with your submission.

Please contact Debra Bodner debra.bodner@vancouver.ca (604-873-7211) for more information or to discuss your project.
