Join us in celebrating Choklit Park!
The Vancouver Heritage Foundation will be presenting a Places That Matter plaque next Monday 16th July at 9.30am at West 7th and Spruce. All are welcome to attend. Charles and Karen Flavelle of Purdy’s Chocolates will be in attendance.
Places That Matter is a plaque project celebrating the 125th anniversary of the incorporation of the city. The Vancouver Heritage Foundation asked for the public’s help to identify and mark 125 sites commemorating people, places and events that have shaped the city and that matter to Vancouverites.
Also Places That Matter plaques will be presented to Vancouver Folk Festival on July 13th and The Lee Building on July 15th.
