On September 20th and 21st, get exclusive access to private gardens in Vancouver and hear directly from the designers and their clients about their collaborative process.
How do clients and designers work together? What makes for a great, enduring collaboration? Garden Dialogues provides unique opportunities for small groups to visit some of today’s most beautiful gardens created by some of the most accomplished designers currently in practice.
A well maintain garden is a healthy one, that produces edible fruits and vegetables as well as beautiful colorful flowers. Maintaining a garden and the soil of it its really important to keep it water, and to feed the soil before you feed the plants. Sometime you will have to dig up the soil and break up the dirt clods.
If there’s a big space you can use a tractor and to remove big roots or trees you will need to find the best electric chain saws to remove everything, then remove the weeds and grass before planting the garden, to reduce the competition for soil nutrients and moisture.
Once the garden is planted and growing, apply organic mulch up to 4 inches deep, and harvest your edibles.
