HALIFAX –  Halifax Regional Municipality is holding public workshops for its Active Transportation Plan Review tonight, Wednesday, and Saturday. These will also (conveniently?) be the final opportunity to comment on the Halifax North-South Crosstown Connector. Facilitated by Dalhousie University’s Cities and Environment Unit, bike route locations, connections and what types of each will be developed during the sessions.

Want to help design Halifax’s nascent bike network?

For Peninsular Halifax, HRM is providing two opportunities to participate, tonight and Saturday. Sessions to review the Active Transportation Plan for HRM communities elsewhere will begin in November, please contact HRM for more information

What do you want to see happen with HRM’s cycling network in the near future? Can we have a separated bike lane to Peggys Cove? How about making Bedford Highway safer?

Let’s get designing!
